How it works

At Dine Gozo we cater for dinner parties of 6+ people throughout the island of Gozo. Our menus are individually designed to your specific tastes and dietary requirements. All dishes are created using the highest quality, seasonal ingredients, offering something for every palate, all cooked to perfection by our chef.

Private dinner parties are the ultimate way of spending quality time with family or guests whilst enjoying the nuances of fine restaurant food without the hassle of going out! There is no clearing up and no one has to worry about driving home after a few glasses of wine!

Our chefs will take care of everything for you from start to finish. They’ll bring all the necessary ingredients, cook and serve the food and even clean up afterwards. All you have to do is sit back, maybe enjoy a glass of wine or two, and anticipate the event ahead!

Please note we will usually require 14 days notice to confirm your booking. Any bookings within this time will be subject to availability.

How it works

Select the location, date & estimated no. of guests for your event.
Browse our delicious selection of set menus & choose one to your liking or discuss your needs with a free consultation.
Finalise your order and requirements.
Once you’re happy you can book & pay for your order.
Select any menu, pay just a 50% non refundable deposit & change your menu choice up to 10 days before your event.
Sit back, relax & we’ll organise the rest for you.
All that is left for you to do is confirm the time you want the service & your full event address. You’ll be sent an email requesting this information as well as asking for any dietary requirements and menu choice selections.

Dine Gozo will call you to introduce ourselves & answer any questions you may have.

On the day of your event, the Chef will arrive approximately 2 – 6 hours (depending on the menu) before the start of service. The Chef will bring all the ingredients to prepare the meal in your kitchen. They’ll cook you each dish and then clean down the kitchen after.

Please note. For small groups (below 8) your personal Chef will be able to serve each course to you but for larger groups, if you require table service, you may want to book a waiter. If so we will happily arrange one.

No one likes to cancel an event, and we will always work with you to try and secure another date when Dine Gozo can cook for you.
If you do need to cancel, your deposit is non-refundable. If we are able to secure another booking for your date, then your deposit will be transferred to that event. 

For cancellations within 48 hours, the entire amount paid will be forfeit. This is to cover the cost of ingredients already purchased, and time spent creating your tailored menu.

We’re sure you have a million questions when deciding to plan a private dinner or occasion with Dine Gozo. These are some of the most common ones, and if you do have questions, please feel free to email us at any time!


Do you have a minimum number of diners?

Everything we make and serve is made to order, especially for your event. When we produce a product they are generally produced in numbers of more than six and it is economically unviable to produce elements of a menu for less than six to eight people. With this in mind and in order to reduce waste thru over production we limit our bookings to those of groups of more than six people.

What type of events do you service?

Dine Gozo is perfect for private dinners and special occasions. So whether it’s a private dinner, a birthday party, business gathering or just an evening in with friends Dine Gozo is the essential ingredient

Do you supply the plates and cutlery?

We are happy to supply crockery and cutlery should you so wish or we can use yours if you prefer.

Who sets the table ?

Most of the time our lovely clients like to set the table in their own particular way, but we can most certainly do this should you wish. Simply show us where the plates, glassware, linen & silver are and we will set the table.

Does the Chef wait on us?

When at all possible the Chef will serve each course to you at the table, but for guest numbers above 8 and to maintain quality, we would suggest an extra pair of hands. The Chef will be focussed on preparing your meal and maintaining its quality if you would like table service for wine as well as food, then it is advisable and we will happily organise one.

When will the Chef arrive ?

As the Chef will be preparing and cooking the majority of your menu fresh on location, it may be necessary to access the premises up to 4 hours before dining.

However, each menu will differ in preparation time depending on its complexity and the number of guests eating. Therefore, the team may need to arrive between 2 - 6 hours prior to dining. We will call you beforehand to introduce ourselves and arrange an arrival time. If you do have any access restrictions, please let us know.

Who cleans up?

Before the end of the service, we will do a full clean down of the kitchen and any equipment we have used. This will include stacking the dishwasher and washing up any dirty plates you have finished with. Please note, we politely ask that you empty the dishwasher and leave the kitchen in a clean state for the Chefs arrival as well as providing washing up liquid and tea towels.

Can everyone choose something different?

As a group, you need to choose the same menu but within the menu, everyone can choose different options. So for example, if the menu has 2 different main course options then individually your party can choose whichever option they prefer.

Can we mix menus ?

We want you to be able to choose the perfect menu for your event and so we introduced the option to Mix & Match dishes between any of our menus. However, we don’t always recommend this as the dishes making up each menu have been specifically designed and chosen to complement one another. However, it is your event and ultimately your choice so if you would like to Mix & Match a menu we are happy to discuss it with you.

What about special dietary needs?

We can cater for almost any dietary requirement and we check what requirements your party has prior to your event allowing us to accommodate them.

Do you bring your own pots & pans ?

We will bring everything we need to cook, including pots and pans.

We’re interested in cookery, can we watch?

We are more than happy to involve you in any way you wish, you can watch, you can participate, you can help, cookery is a social activity and we are more than happy to involve you.

How does costing work?

The pricing works on a per-person basis. Each menu will be priced accordingly, dependent on the ingredients. Our starting menu is priced at €65 per person. The price per person includes initial consultation, customized menu planning, all of the food, natural & sparkling water for the table, servers for dinners of 8 or more. (Number of servers is based on the number of dinner guests.) For more information on our pricing policy please read this.

Do you do food & wine pairings?

Yes, we can pair the food with whatever wine you like. Many clients have extensive wine collections, and we are able to create tasting menus to pair the food with the wine. We do not, however, provide wine within the cost of the menu. We are able to provide wine through our trusted partners.

What about availability?

We will always endeavour to provide our service to all enquiries made but please be aware that short notice availability can NOT be guaranteed. On receipt of an enquiry, we will let you know within 48 hours if we have availability.

Are we restricted to indoors?

Absolutely not, there are a plethora of beautiful locations around Gozo...and we're happy to assist.
